Before owning Altoona Auto Body, Jim Hansen worked in management at United Parcel Service for several years. Jim has run Altoona Auto Body along with his daughter Desirae. Jim is married to Rhona and has two daughters, Desirae and Kristina, along with three grandchildren. He enjoys fishing, softball, time at his lake house, and playing with his grandchildren.

Desirae Sanford has worked in the auto body industry for over a decade and owns Altoona Auto Body along with her father. She is mom to twin daughters, Maycee and Paige. Desirae enjoys softball, time with family and friends and playing with her daughters.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work that was done by Altoona Auto Body on our 2009 Camry.  I had hit a cement post while backing out of a parking garage creating damage to the passenger's doors.  I debated whether or not to fix the car, but knew that we intended to keep this car for several years and didn't want it to become rusted.  After the repairs made by Altoona Auto Body shop, the car looks brand new.  Additionally, Jim Hansen supplied us a vehicle to use while our car was in the shop and before the car was returned to us someone had totally cleaned the inside and outside of the car.

This is the third time I have used Altoona Auto Body shop and each time the company has exceeded my expectations.  The first time I stopped at your shop was for a window on my 2002 Camry that wouldn't stay in place if I rolled the window down.  Jim, the owner, looked at the situation, fixed it on the spot and charged me $35.00.  That moment was never forgotten and I have since been back two other times.  Each time generating a positive result and exceptional customer service.

It is small businesses such as your's that make my day.  I would not expect that type of service from a dealer ship.  I have two favorite shops in Altoona, Altoona Body Shop and McManus Car Repair.  Neither has ever failed to identify the problem, correct the problem and charge a reasonable rate, and provide outstanding customer service.
